Steamy Sips

Coffee has always felt like a small paradox to me - a pause and a push at the same time.

It invites you to slow down: the brewing, the aroma, the warmth in your hands. Yet it’s also what nudges the day into motion, quietly energizing whatever comes next. Somewhere between comfort and momentum, coffee creates these tiny rituals that shape our routines more than we notice.

My coffee themed illustrations - and later on my collection -  grew out of that feeling. Not just of drinking coffee, but of the moments surrounding it - conversations at the kitchen table, sketching with a cup nearby, taking a break that turns into an idea.

To me, coffee isn’t just fuel. It’s atmosphere. It’s rhythm. Sometimes it really is just a hug in a mug. A memory.

Steamy Sips is a celebration of those everyday rituals - the calm, the warmth, and the gentle spark that carries us forward.
